Hello, my name is Colleen Renehan and I am a certified massage therapist. I have been a Reiki master since 2002. I graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2003 and worked with Dr Warren Silver at the Silver Wellness Center in Woodlawn, Maryland, from 2007 until Novenber 2011. I now work at the dermatology practice of Dr Risa Jampel in Owings Mills, Maryland, and at Therapeutic Kneads in Eldersburg, Maryland.
I taught at the Massage Institute of Maryland until it's close in 2009, and was instrumental in putting together the pending massage therapy program at Carroll Community College. Currently serving as chapter president, I have been on the state chapter board of the American Massage Therapy Association for the past 6 years. I am an active member of the Maryland Professional Sports Massage team.
My sessions incorporate a combination of techniques which vary depending upon the symptoms a client presents with, therefore no two sessions are ever the same. Massage therapy is a profession which is never stagnant, and as a result I am ever changing and evolving, learning new methods and techniques which I pass on to you. I currently employ Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, neuromusculer, orthopeadic, Rossiter and Facilitated stretching techniques as well as hot stone therapy.
